For over 6 years now AIMData has provided custom technology applications for retail automotive dealerships in database management, database marketing, customer relationship management and dealership management DMS.

The 1Source Dealership Management Portal is the first and only completely web-based customizable application to combine dealership management functionality including accounting, finance, parts and service with world class customer relationship management tools for all departments and incorporate database management and marketing in one easy to access web application with one log in and no server required.

Below is an overview of the 3 core modules of the 1SourceDMP, Database Reconstruction, Management and Marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Dealership Management Systems (DMS).

Database Reconstruction, Management and Marketing

Making data make money is the goal of IT. When companies lose sight of that basic premise is when IT becomes costly and ineffective. The database is the backbone of any system, and that is where AIMData starts, reconstructing your dealership’s customer database from your legacy DMS, Manufacturer’s RDR’s going back 10 years, supplementing that customer data with credit information to provide payment, term, balance, credit score, demographic information and profiling your dealership’s average customer. Then using that profile AIMData constructs a potential customer database of customers that have never done business with your dealership but fit that customer profile. By using our exclusive market evaluation, AIMData selects customers from your PMA as defined by the customers that have done business with your dealership for the last 10 years.

AIMData continues to manage this relational database for the dealer updating addresses, vehicles, credit and demographic data using proven techniques over our 5-year history to provide the dealership with 98.7% accurate information.

When complete your dealership 1SourceRMD (Relational Marketing Database) is segmented by the customer’s relationship to your dealership. For example, Existing and Potential Customers. Then it is segmented further by:

  • Leases Due
  • Purchases Due
  • Purchases Complete
  • Used Vehicle Customers
  • Service Customers that did not purchase from the dealership

AIMData uses this segmentation to target your dealership’s message to each individual customer based on his or her relationship to your store. Lead Management / CRM

1SourceCRM was designed to manage the traffic driven to the dealership by the 1SourceRMD. This completely web-based system tracks all showroom traffic, call-in customers, out bound calls, Internet leads as well as potential sales on the service drive. 1SourceCRM then centralizes these leads into an easy to use process driven web application that helps salespeople and sales managers logically follow-up on all Opportunities to do Business or OTB’s.

With the 1SourceCRM system our clients can scale the hardware in their dealership to meet their needs and grow with the dealership without having to change processes or CRM systems. 1SourceCRM can work in the smallest dealership with a single data entry point and a printer to a multi-dealership, multi-state group centralizing all BDC functions into one location for redundancy and economies of scale.

Turn over in the dealership presents system-training challenges for all dealers. AIMData provides daily training FREE of charge to all our dealers to minimize the training burden on management. AIMData also provides written procedures tailored to each dealership so everyone knows what is being trained. Finally, with AIMData you truly get a technology partner as the AIMData implementation staff continuously monitors your dealership progress with the 1SourceCRM system to help you inspect what we all expect.

DMS

AIMData’s final installment to the 1SouceDMP is the addition of DMS or Dealership Management System functionality including accounting, finance, parts and service. The 1SourceDMS is the only dealership management system to integrate database management & marketing, as well customer relationship management with a truly web-based DMS system that any computer can access through the power and connectivity of the Internet with no special hardware or software requirements.

The 1SourceDMS lowers the cost of IT by allowing dealers to purchase standard PC’s to run their dealership. This hardware flexibility also allows dealers the unprecedented hardware support as they can now just go to the local electronics store and purchase a new PC if the one they have breaks and do this at a fraction of the cost of a Reynolds & Reynolds, ADP or UCS support call.

The dealership’s offsite system is more secure and safer than any in-store legacy system in a dealership today. AIMData servers are housed at Level 3 Communications hardened data center used by Microsoft, AOL Google and many other fortune 500 companies, with thousands of back-up battery units, 2 or more diesel electric generators and 100’s of multiple connections so your data is always accessible and ready to go. Also, each dealership is backed up with a real-time back-up server for redundancy. All data is backed up to tape daily as well as to back-up AIMData servers at our Houston headquarters. NO in-dealership legacy system has this level of security and redundancy today.

The 1SourceDMP was designed to be a single solution that would scale and grow with the dealership’s needs.
